Tom co-manages the Diversified Large Cap Growth strategy products and is the Co-Director of Research at ClearBridge. He has 17 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining a predecessor organization in 2000, Tom was a vice president and portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley, where his responsibilities included managing capital growth and core equity portfolios.
As the Co-Director of Research, Tom also oversees the cornerstone of the ClearBridge approach to investing: proprietary research. Our fundamental research team is a crucial shared resource, helping managers to both find potential new investments and to conduct constant surveillance of their current portfolio holdings.
Tom began his career at Neuberger & Berman as a research analyst focusing on mid and large capitalization equities. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Boston University School of Management. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
