Gordon manages individual portfolios for private clients and has 20 years of investment industry experience. Gordon joined ClearBridge Advisors predecessor firm Citigroup Asset Management in 1999.
Prior to joining the firm, Gordon gained experience in private client asset management at JP Morgan, structuring and executing institutional private placements at Prudential Capital Corporation, institutional sales and trading at Lehman Brothers and institutional asset management at a boutique firm, UCP. Gordon has held positions as portfolio manager, trader, director of finance and business developer in his long tenure on Wall Street.
Gordon received an AB with honors from Harvard College, his MBA from Harvard Business School, and a Rotary International Fellowship to the University of Mexico. He also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1993. Gordon is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, chairs the board of the Ralph Lauren Cancer Center, serves on the boards of the Industrial Development Agency of New Rochelle, and of Literacy Partners, and serves as the Treasurer of the Harvard Class of 1983. He is also a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
